The Wisconsin Historical Society’s plans for a $120 million museum include a four-story glass facade structure and rooftop deck, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The existing museum, at 30 N. Carroll St., will be demolished to make room for the new 100,000-square-foot development that will double the exhibition space of the organization. More than 200,000 annual visitors are expected at the museum that has a planned opening in 2026.
