Movie theaters may be well and truly back this year after “The Odyssey” brought in $264 million in its opening weekend, according to Universal Pictures.
In Business Madison interviewed leadership at Marcus Theatres who talked about the troubles movie theaters faced during the COVID pandemic, and reported on how well the industry is doing this year.
“The Odyssey” from Christopher Nolan was seen as a challenge and a benchmark for traditional epics in movie theaters, and the numbers have been a resounding success so far.
