Tingalls has earned In Business magazine’s Executive Choice Award for Best Website Developer five years running — 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. I was honored as an Adultitis Fighter of the Month in January 2016. My firm was recognized with the Dane County Small Business Award in 2016, and in 2017, I signed my 1,000th client. I was elected as president of the South Madison Rotary Club for the 2020–2021 Rotary year.

Tingalls also offers hundreds of hours of pro bono graphic design and website maintenance services for nonprofits in the Dane County area through our Giving Tree Program.

I will be celebrating my 20th year of marriage to my husband, Roger Ingalls, in 2020. I’m mother of three beautiful daughters — Makenna (13) and twins Savannah and Addison (9).

I started running in 2015 have completed six half marathons. In 2018, I started a side “hustle” called Tingalls Tiles creating custom, one-of-a-kind glass mosaic art tiles. I display at small art fairs in Madison.

If you were to “do it all over again,” what (if anything) would you do differently throughout your career?

Nothing. I’ve enjoyed every minute. Madison was and continues to be an incredible city to be a young entrepreneur and business owner. Every organization I’ve been part of has supported me through the ups and downs.

How did your 40 Under 40 selection help your career?

It helped bring credibility and awareness to my small business and acknowledged me as a young professional in Madison. It was really fun to reconnect with the other people in my 2005 class at the recent reunion.

Based on your experience, do you have any advice for today’s young professionals (under 40)?

Continue to be fearless and never lose sight of your true, authentic self.
