No April Foolin’ from local ice cream purveyor Chocolate Shoppe: It will open its Hilldale Shopping Center location on Wednesday.
The ice cream scooper previously had a location in the shopping mall but left in 2005.
The family-owned business, which opened in 1962, has multiple locations across Madison. It is also opening a location in the forthcoming Madison Public Market.
Those who visit on opening day can get a free scoop of ice cream from noon to 8 p.m. while supplies last.
