Move over, Tony Stark, there’s a new billionaire philanthropist in town.
CNBC reports that billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has made $7.17 billion in charitable donations in 2025, bringing her total up to $26.3 billion since 2019.
Scott has given to a variety of nonprofits, including several Black colleges and universities, and organizations focused on fighting poverty and social injustice.
Locally, Scott or her foundation has given money to Centro Hispano, the Urban League of Greater Madison and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County.

Scott is worth an estimated $29.9 billion. She is only behind Warren Buffett and Bill Gates when it comes to lifetime giving.
