Philanthropist Mackenzie Scott has donated $2.9 million to the Urban League of Greater Madison for programming and the Black Business Hub, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The organization will allocate $1 million for the planned Black Business Hub and $1.9 million for housing needs, education, and job training. The Black Business Hub will be a four-story, 76,000-square-foot enterprise center devoted to incubating, accelerating, and networking Black and other BIPOC entrepreneurs.
