Latinx relief fund reopens, seeks donations

After raising more than $1.1 million for Latinx families to endure the economic hardships due to COVID-19, the Madison Latino Consortium has reopened the fund, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. 

The Latino Consortium for Action Emergency Relief Fund was established by partner organizations Centro Hispano of Dane County, UNIDOS, Latino Academy of Workforce Development, Latino Health Council, Latino Education Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, Voces de La Frontera, and the Latino Chamber of Commerce to provide help for Latinx families in Dane County, particularly those that are undocumented and ineligible for government assistance.
