A Barron County circuit judge has denied a request by the Tavern League of Wisconsin and some business owners for a temporary injunction blocking the state’s health order limiting indoor gatherings and occupancy limits, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.

Last week a Sawyer County circuit judge temporarily blocked the order in response to the suit brought by the Tavern League. The order, which expires Nov. 6, limits some indoor gatherings to no more than 25% of the total occupancy for a room or building; however, the order allows for several exemptions including schools, polling locations, political rallies, churches and places of worship, and some businesses such as grocery stores.
