Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is hosting an event to address housing in the area.
The event, “Turning the Key to Homeownership: A Community Conversation on Affordable Housing,” is a solutions-focused event convening business leaders, policymakers, nonprofit partners and community advocates working to expand access to affordable housing.
It will be held April 22 at TruStage Lighthouse Auditorium at 5810 Mineral Point Road.
Attendees will gain insight into the barriers to homeownership in Dane County and hear about community-driven solutions.
Featured panelists include Jim Malewitz, managing editor of Wisconsin Watch; Becky Binz with the city of Sun Prairie; Tiffany Malone of Own It: Building Black Wealth; Brian McMahon of Operation Fresh Start and Eric Willman of Veridian Homes.
