Detailed plans from Summit Smith Development and Gilbane Development Co. offer a better idea of the Madison Yards project proposed for the northwest corner of Segoe Road and Sheboygan Avenue, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
The project now includes a seven-story building with 154,000 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet of first floor retail; a five-story structure with 78 apartments and a 5.5-story parking garage with 600-plus stalls; and a two-story building with 17,000 square feet of commercial/retail space. The Block 1 phase is just one of seven blocks of proposed public and private office space, housing, a hotel, commercial space, restaurants, a Whole Foods Market, a public plaza, a farmers’ market, and parking.
