The Madison Public Market announced on its Instagram page that Caracas Empanadas Y Más has officially joined its merchant list.
The business, which began in 2010 as a food truck, offers empanadas and arepas, among other dishes.
“We can confirm that Caracas Empanadas Y Más will be a part of the Public Market,” said co-owner Luis Aguilar in a statement.
“Our guests can expect quality food that leans towards Venezuelan cuisine and a mix of Latin American dishes: handmade empanadas, arepas, cachapas, etc. Also traditional/typical dishes (platters that include steak, chicken or pork).
“Our (guests) can also expect to have natural fruit drinks … with many other side options as well, such as fried sweet plantains and more. We are excited to kick off this new market.”
Other confirmed vendors for the market, which is planning a soft opening next month, include Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, Cinn City Smash, Melly Mell’s Deli and Catering, Cervato Wine & Tapas Bar, Ancestral Tribe Custom Apparel, ArtWorking, Unique Hair Accessories & More, home goods maker Love U Madison and Indian street food restaurant the Chowpati.
