Redevelopment of Bayview — a downtown community bordered by South Park Street, Regent Street, and West Washington Avenue — has begun, according to a report from Channel 3000. A 48-unit, four-story apartment building scheduled to open in 2022 is the first phase of the $50 million project, which also includes a 25-unit, three-story building, 57 two-story townhouses, and an 11,000-square-foot community center.
