Madison’s Babcock Dairy on Tuesday expanded its voluntary recall of mislabeled ice cream, according to WMTV15. The recall affects Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream potentially mislabeled as Chocolate Peanut Butter.
The original recall listed Sept. 17 as the date of production for the affected products; the expanded recall concerns half gallons of ice cream produced between Sept. 17–30.
The company asks consumers to check the production date on the bottom of containers.
