Babcock Dairy has issued a voluntary recall of some of its ice cream products, according to WKOW. The Madison-based company said the voluntary recall affects roughly 41 cases of Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream potentially mislabeled as Chocolate Peanut Butter.

The products in question were produced on Sept. 17 and distributed to local retail establishments — including Babcock Dairy Store, Metcalfe’s Markets, Ken’s Meats & Deli, and Capitol Centre Market — and directly to customers in Wisconsin. Production dates are located on the bottom of the ice cream containers.

The issue was reported by a customer on Nov. 4. There have been no illness reports associated with the products’ consumption. Babcock Dairy staff reportedly retrieved all remaining affected products from retail outlets within three hours of the discovery and are taking immediate corrective steps to prevent the issue’s recurrence.
