East side Madison’s Asian House restaurant will reopen Monday, roughly two months after it closed due to extensive damage to its building, WMTV15 reports. On Feb. 25, a Metro Transit bus crashed into the restaurant after the driver was attacked by a passenger.

Owner Bonnie Huang said the restaurant is still working to find money to cover additional repairs to the business after exceeding the amount that insurance will cover. Located at 1 Dempsey Road, Asian House offers Chinese cuisine, including vegetarian options, for both lunch and dinner service.
