American Family Insurance, along with the company’s Dreams Foundation, plans to invest $2.5 million in The Center for Black Excellence and Culture, according to a Madison365.com report. The $38 million center, which plans to open on Madison’s south side in 2023, will be a center for Black culture, wellness, and innovation. The center will incorporate studios, offices, coworking areas, two performance spaces, and the professional lounge “Club Afrique” into a three-story, 65,000-square-foot building. It will be developed on up to six acres at 655 W. Badger Road near the Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development.
