ZeniMax Media Inc., a creator and worldwide publisher of interactive entertainment, is moving forward with a workforce reduction that will impact 39 employees at its Roundhouse Studios, 2921 Landmark Place, Suite 520 location in Madison.
The company said that the move, which is anticipated to be permanent, is a result of “the indefinite shelving of a project and other business priority changes.” Only certain employees working at the location will be impacted, and other facility operations will continue.
Affected employees were notified of impending layoffs on July 2. At that time, only nine employees in Wisconsin were set to be impacted, effective Sept. 1.
Since then, subsequent events have prompted the layoffs of 30 additional employees, which will be effective as of Oct. 15. A list of all job titles of affected positions is available here.
