Vidmaker, a Madison startup company, has been purchased for an undisclosed amount by YouTube and its parent, Google. The company has developed an online platform allowing users to collaboratively create videos in real time and from different locations. It was launched in 2011 by Dale Emmons and Ryan Bolyard, two former Sony Creative Software employees, and a former Intuit employee, Yuri Zapuchlak.
