WYSO Center for Music officially opens

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra officially opened the WYSO Center for Music, WMTV15 reports. The organization started in the basement of the UW–Madison Humanities building and operated without official programming space for years.

The new spot at 1118 E. Washington Ave. houses more than 40,000 square feet of rehearsal rooms, community spaces, and studios. All WYSO students will now be under one roof.
