The Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC) on Thursday, Aug. 28, will host a Strong Women, Strong Coffee networking session at its 2352 S. Park St., Suite 226 location in Madison.
The session will run from 9-10 a.m.
Strong Women, Strong Coffee sessions feature a live interview with a leader who has achieved success in their business, career or field. Thursday’s speaker will be Diane Ballweg, owner of Endres Manufacturing and president of the company’s charitable foundation.
Ballweg is known for civic engagement and nonprofit leadership in Madison and service on the boards of Madison’s Youth Arts Center, Symphony Orchestra and Community Foundation.
She has taught music and led special education programs at the elementary level and is also a pilot. For the past 20 years, she has instructed a high school aviation program in Madison and is the author of “Into the Wind, Above the Clouds.”
Ballweg is a member of The Kennedy Center’s National Committee on the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., past chair of the Community Foundation Board and the Madison Children’s Museum Board and on the University of Wisconsin School of Music Board.
