The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC) announced that effective Jan. 1, 2025, it will transition to an independent nonprofit organization. This milestone has the full support of WSBC’s current parent company, the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) Manufacturing Solutions.
As an independent nonprofit, WSBC will broaden its mission to strengthen sustainability efforts across Wisconsin. This transition will allow WSBC to better serve the entire Wisconsin business community through expanded services, including education, consulting, and member networking. WSBC’s vision remains focused on ensuring that businesses of all sizes, sectors, and locations develop fully integrated sustainability programs.Â
