WRTP | BIG STEP, a workforce intermediary, has partnered with the Latino Academy of Workforce Development Inc. to host the 2024 Partners in Construction Diversity Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 3–7 p.m., according to a recent press release. The event will take place at the Latino Academy of Workforce Development Inc.’s 2909 Landmark Place location.
The Partners in Construction Diversity Career Fair emphasizes the importance of creating a diverse pipeline of skilled and ready individuals. It provides an opportunity for adults interested in a career in the construction industry to network with area employers and various local labor unions actively seeking out registered apprentices.
Partners include labor unions in the construction trades, high-road area employers, higher education institutions, and community organizations.
