WRTP | BIG STEP and the Mackenzie Regional Workforce Center — located at 5215 Verona Road in Fitchburg — are hosting an event recognizing women in the construction industry on Tuesday, March 5.
The event will take place from 11 a.m.–5 p.m., with a Career Exploration Fair from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. and an Apprenticeship Q&A segment from 4–5 p.m. The day will feature hands-on demonstrations from various union trades; an opportunity to connect with local employers; and a chance to hear the experiences of women in the field.
