Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corp. (WPS) is reducing resources across the corporation at its Monona campus at 1717 W. Broadway and its Madison facility at 5049 Tradewinds Parkway. The decision reportedly comes in response to competitive pressures and contract losses in the federal government contracts market.
As part of its resource reduction plan, WPS will be reducing its workforce. The expected date of the first separation is Jan. 21, 2025. WPS expects that 313 employees will be affected and that this action will be permanent.
