The Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (WPHCA) announced that Scott Stewart will join in January 2025 as its chief executive officer, serving as the new leader for the statewide organization serving Wisconsin’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs or CHCs), following an extensive national search.

Stewart most recently served as the chief strategy officer at Honor Community Health, an FQHC in Oakland County, Michigan. In this role, he spearheaded initiatives and programs that enhanced health equity for patients and the community and ensured the organization’s long-term sustainability. Previously, he was the vice president of programs for the Pontiac Community Foundation.

Stephanie Harrison led WPHCA for nearly two decades prior to her planned departure at the end of the year. Stewart’s anticipated start date will be Jan. 6, 2025.
