World Dairy Expo staying in Madison, for now

After consideration of sites outside Dane County, the World Dairy Expo has decided to keep its 2021 event in Madison. The 54th annual event is scheduled to remain a the Alliant Energy Center and be held Sept. 28–Oct. 2 of this year. Discussions around the acceptance of Dane County’s proposed 10-year contract to the World Dairy Expo are ongoing. Each year, the Expo draws crowds of about 60,000 people from nearly 100 countries.
