Madison Development Corp.’s (MDC) Graaskamp Apartments opened Aug. 5 at 1946 E. Washington Ave., according to the organization. Rents for the 44 workforce units are based on tenant incomes and household sizes and range from $688 for a studio unit to $1,875 for a three-bedroom unit. MDC received a $990,000 grant from the city of Madison and a low-interest loan for $50,000 from the United Way Foundation that assisted in the construction of this project.
