Worker tardiness has staggering cost for Wisconsin, the US

New research conducted by The Savvy Wrist asked 3,000 employees about lateness in the workplace and found that the average U.S. worker loses 35 minutes per week to lateness, according to a recent press release. This costs American employers $166 per head every year, or $61,126,349,724 nationwide each year.

The cost of employee tardiness to the Wisconsin economy is $728,699,415 per year. The average Wisconsinite arrives at work or logs on 22 hours late over the course of the year, or 25 mins per week, costing their employer $124 per year.
