Orthopedic and Spine Centers of Wisconsin, the Madison-based group of doctors that left SSM Health over two years ago to start a competing practice, will soon have a new, $10 million facility off Airport Road in Middleton, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Work began this week on the site of the planned outpatient surgery center, which is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026.

The 12,000-square-foot center at 8124 Forsythia St. will be co-owned by Phoenix-based Healthcare Outcomes Performance, which has been managing the practice. The project from Scottsdale, Arizona-based Cypress Development Partners will feature three operating rooms and offer outpatient surgeries including joint replacements, sports medicine procedures and spine, foot and ankle surgeries.
