Work begins on downtown luxury apartment complex

Stevens Construction Corp. has begun work on The Domain, a luxury apartment complex in downtown Madison at the corner of Johnson, Dayton, and Broom streets. The Domain will replace the existing Dayton Square Apartments, and its six-story first phase should be completed by the summer of 2014, followed by a 12-story phase II scheduled for completion a year later. When complete, the project will include 326 individual units.
