The Fitchburg Police Department reported that a woman was stabbed early Friday morning in the parking lot of Monkeyshines Bar & Grill, according to WMTV15. Another woman allegedly stabbed the 39-year-old victim around 1:45 a.m. following a fight.
The 37-year-old suspect was stopped as she drove away. The weapon used in the attack was reportedly found in the car. The alleged attacker was arrested for second degree recklessly endangering safety, substantial battery, and disorderly conduct while armed.
The victim’s wound was non-life-threatening; she was taken to a hospital for treatment.
