The Wisconsin Newspaper Association (WNA) Foundation has kicked off the Wisconsin Civics Games and the Civics Games Editorial Writing & Cartoon Contest for 2022, the second year the organization has held the events. The competitions aimed at increasing civic education and engagement while celebrating the rights established by the First Amendment are open to all Wisconsin middle and high school students, including home-schooled students. The deadline for submissions is on Monday, Oct. 24, and winners will be announced in early December.
