WMC’s Business Day comes to Monona Terrace tomorrow

Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) — the combined state chamber and manufacturers’ association — will be hosting its largest event of the year, Business Day, on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center at 1 John Nolen Drive.

The economy will be front and center throughout the day, which will include remarks from Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President and CEO Austan Goolsbee, The Marcus Corp. President and CEO Greg Marcus, Bassett Mechanical CEO Kim Bassett, and Amcor Flexibles North America President Fred Stephan, among others.

In addition, WMC and Johnson Financial Group will announce the winner of the eighth annual Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. Finalists include AriensCo, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats, Plexus Corp., and Thorogood.
