The Wisconsin Veterans Museum could vacate the Capitol Square, according to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Different downtown Madison sites may be considered for a new museum. The location where it is now at 30 W. Mifflin St. has housed the museum for decades.
The state Department of Administration on Thursday issued a request for submittals from firms that can provide consulting and architectural and engineering services for the new museum.
Posted with the request for submittals was a feasibility study, which is about four years old and lays out three potential new homes for the museum in addition to its current site.
