As waterparks, museums, historic sites, and other tourism sites close amid COVID-19 concerns, Wisconsin tourism businesses are readying themselves for the impact to their bottom line, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal.

According to the state Department of Tourism, direct tourism spending in 2018 increased 4.86 percent to $13.3 billion. Numbers for 2019 will be released in May but the 2020 numbers are almost certain to take a hit.
