Wisconsin small businesses got over $9.8B in PPP loans

As of June 27, Wisconsin small businesses receiving Paycheck Protection Program loans numbered 84,301 and received over $9.8 billion, according to Wisbusiness.com. The Small Business Administration approved over 4.8 million loans totaling $520.6 billion.

On average, loans totaled $107,199, and nearly $130 billion is still available. The U.S. Senate voted this week to extend the loan application deadline to Aug. 8. The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on the measure.
