Wisconsin exported $700 million of agricultural products to over 100 countries in the first quarter of 2012, an increase of 16% over 2011, according to the state

. The increase moved the Dairy State up the rankings to number 15, from number 18 during the same period last year. Dairy products accounted for $64 million in exports, an increase of 23% from last year, while exports of ethanol totaled $74 million in the first quarter, making Wisconsin the second-largest ethanol exporter in the nation.
