Wisconsin Apple, a 25-unit operator of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to a Restaurant Business Online report.
The franchisee cited cost spikes amid depressed revenues during COVID-19 as underlying factors for the filing. The operator employs 600 employees in the state at 25 locations, including the location in Madison at 4710 East Towne Blvd.
