Following the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to delay their playoff game against Orlando on Wednesday, the Milwaukee Brewers decided to sit out their Aug. 26 game against the Cincinnati Reds, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

Both team boycotts are in response to the recent shooting of Kenosha man Jacob Blake. The Bucks and the Brewers have led efforts in their leagues to call attention to the fight for equality and racial justice.

Forward Madison has also announced it will postpone its upcoming game against North Texas SC to a later date in a move “to shift attention away from sports and towards the fight against systemic discrimination towards Black Americans.”
