Foxconn, a Taiwanese company that employs nearly a million people and assembles smartphones and other electronic devices for companies like Apple, Blackberry, and Sony, is looking for a U.S. location for a factory that could create as many at 50,000 jobs. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Wisconsin is on its short list, along with Michigan and Pennsylvania. Foxconn purchased Sharp Corp. last year.
