Wisconsin fell four spots in measures of adult health, according to United Health Foundation’s 2012 America’s Health Rankings. The latest report shows Wisconsin ranked 16th, down from 12th in 2011. The state scored well in high school graduations and the number of uninsured residents, but was docked for its binge drinking, per capita public health funding, and African American obesity rates. Vermont was the top-ranked state for the sixth consecutive year. Mississippi and Louisiana ranked last.
