Wisconsin fell two spots in Forbes magazine’s recent rankings of The Best States for Business. Wisconsin was ranked 42nd in the nation overall, hurt by the magazine’s assessment that state production is heading in the wrong direction. The state also scored poorly for quality of life (43rd), labor supply (39th), and business costs (35th). On a more favorable note, Wisconsin came in at number 10 for “growth prospects.” For the third year in a row, Utah took top honors.
