The Wisconsin Climate March will take place in Madison on Sept. 28, urging public support for solar power, clean energy jobs, environmental justice, conservation and democracy.
350 Wisconsin, Elevate and Sierra Club, along with many Wisconsin-based grassroots organizations, will lead the march, advocating for clean energy.
The Wisconsin Climate March will mark the end of Climate Week, a series of nationwide events bringing together leaders and advocacy groups.
Participants will gather at Library Mall. A march down State Street to the Capitol Square will take place from 1-2 p.m., followed by speeches, musical acts and a celebration on the square from 2-4 p.m.
