Wisconsin Business World, an affiliate of WMC Foundation, announced in a recent press release the winners of the twice-annual Innovation Competition. The contest, sponsored by Kwik Trip, tasks students to innovate a new product for the Kwik Trip convenience stores, create a marketing plan, and present the idea in the format of their choice.

The winners of the Spring 2023 Innovation Competition include:

  • Rida Sudheer and Carlie Rousseau of Waukesha West High School;
  • Brooke Mercier of Racine Case High School; and
  • Logan Pinnow of Holmen High School.

This year’s winning entries included Kwik Vending, Sauce System, and the Hot Spot Kiosk. Each entry included a presentation on the product and a marketing strategy identifying a target audience and explaining how the product would increase consumer sales.

The contest was open to Wisconsin students in grades 6–12. Each of the winning projects received a $500 cash prize. Wisconsin Business World and Kwik Trip will host a similar contest this fall.
