The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin Educational Foundation Inc. (Wisconsin Bike Fed) announced that registration is now open for the 10th Ride Across Wisconsin (RAW) on July 12. The nonprofit’s largest fundraiser of the year will kick off and conclude at Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire.
RAW offers two main route options, 180 miles or 100 miles, with full-service ride support and rest stops along the route. It takes riders south of Eau Claire through north Trempealeau County, back through Eau Claire County, through Chippewa and Dunn counties, and eventually back to Eau Claire.
RAW also offers a 13.5 mile family ride that explores Eau Claire. The route will cover 10 bridges, five city parks, and more. A finish-line party will take place following the rides.
The cycling event directly benefits Wisconsin Bike Fed programs that improve bike infrastructure, promote safety, and advance bike-friendly legislation.
