The Wisconsin Bike Fed, a nonprofit organization promoting bicycling education for the community, will host its annual Milwaukee Santa Cycle Rampage on Dec. 6 to raise money for its bike education programs, free repairs for low-income residents and to pay staff for advocacy projects.

“It’s the world’s largest winter holiday-themed costume bike ride for charity,” event organizer and Wisconsin Bike Fed assistant director Jake Newborn said in a statement. “We expect over 2,000 Santas, elves, reindeer, Ralphies, Grinches and more to celebrate the joy of cycling at this fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Fed.”

Santa Cycle Rampage is a slow, police-escorted event along a predetermined route with two main ride start options that end at the Bike Fed office located at 187 E. Becher St., Milwaukee.

A 3-mile family-friendly ride, Elf Cycle Frenzy, is also available for riders this year.
