The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) announced the release of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ preliminary employment estimates for October 2022, which showed Wisconsin has added 58,800 total nonfarm and 54,600 private sector jobs from October 2021 through October 2022. The data also showed that Wisconsin had an unemployment rate of 3.3%, and the labor force participation rate was 65.3% compared to a national unemployment rate of 3.7% and a labor force participation rate of 62.2%.
