A medical marijuana bill with bipartisan support is being circulated in the Wisconsin Legislature, according to a Capital Timesstory.

The bill is supported by Stevens Point Republican Sen. Patrick Testin, and Democrats Sen. Jon Erpenbach and Rep. Chris Taylor. If passed, it would require patients with qualifying conditions to obtain a registry identification card and also require all marijuana providers and processors to be licensed by the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and pay upfront and annual fees.
