Willy Street Co-op members approved a $2.25 million expansion of its smallest store, the 10,000-square-foot Middleton location on University Avenue, to allow for more space overall and the ability to keep more product onsite.
They also voted to allocate and release funds for future expansion of a yet-to-be-identified capital project. The co-op could be considering opening a fourth location in Greater Madison, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Willy Street Co-op is one of the largest co-ops in the country with over 34,000 members.
