The Wisconsin Local Food Purchase Assistance (WI LFPA) Program is hosting fall events across the state, according to the Wisconsin Farmers Union. These events are a chance to network with local food system partners and connect around solutions for sustaining farm to food access programming in the community.
Among the events are the following in Dane County:

Sept. 20: On-Farm Peer Education Event — Yowela Farms, Yowela Farms (2625 Oak Lawn Road, Stoughton) from 1–5:30 p.m.;

Oct. 1: After the Farm — Meat processing training for farmers in wholesale food access supply chains, Meat Science & Animal Biologics Discovery Building (1933 Observatory Drive, Madison) from 10 a.m.–3 p.m.; and

Oct. 12: Coolbot Cooler Build Workshop Led in Hmong/HMoob Language, Westport Farm (5143 Bong Road, Waunakee) from 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
